AUGUST IS NATIONAL CHILD SUPPORT AWARENESS MONTH

In recognition of Child Support Awareness Month, The Coshocton County Child Support Enforcement Agency is hosting OPERATION OUTREACH.  Mark your calendars for Wednesday - August 25th from noon to 4:00 p.m.   This event reaches out to Non Residential Parents who for one reason or another are struggling with meeting child support obligations.  We have determined that there are a number of reasons why a parent may choose not to pay or are unable to pay child support.  We have worked with some of our partners in the child support arena and put together this event in hopes of eliminating the excuses/barriers and help get these parents back on track.

The Child Support Enforcement Agency provides many opportunities for parents who have child support obligations to work "with" our office and comply with their orders.  Unfortunately, some parents choose to ignore their obligations and find themselves in situations that could have been prevented.  Click HERE to view a listing of non-residential parents who have either failed to  appear for court hearings or jail sentences after being served to do so or have been found guilty of Criminal Non Support charges.  These parents all have warrants out for their arrest.

Here at JFS we strive to provide the best services possible. We are constantly striving to better ourselves, and our agency for the community.
