SUMMARY

Responsible for receiving time sheets and paying employees, payroll taxes and benefits and assisting with maintaining Human Resources Department records.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain employee payroll
  • Gather, sort and organize all time sheet information for processing
  • Enter any individual employee payroll changes prior to payroll processing.
  • Process employee garnishments and/or child support orders.
  • Submit payroll information including hours, taxes, deductions, etc. to ADP for processing.
  • Review payroll information for accuracy once payroll is
  • File payroll
  • Assist employees with payroll
  • Serve as backup for Human Resources Manager when necessary.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college and at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience with ADP portable payroll software a plus.
